Instead, the team spent the last weekend competing at the Cascade Cycling Classic. The classic moment of the event came when Horner had finished his team-duty of sheparding Levi Leipheimer over the last climb of the day.

A rider from another team had crashed, and his bike was not rideable. Horner gave his competitor and his bicycle a ride to the finish line. Class act!
