John’s Ramblings

We lost our little Sean this weekend.  He developed a cough about 10 days prior, and when the normal cough-type treatments failed we had a chest x-ray done.  The x-ray revealed a large mass in his chest, constricting trachea, heart, and lungs.  Too large a tumor and too old a dog to even contemplate surgery, and chemo would have only prolonged the inevitable.  He was “comfortable” when lying completely still, but still had to breathe very shallow and quickly.  The outcome was very apparent, so we said goodbye on Saturday morning.

Love you Sean, rest in peace… meet you on the beach.
