Workout 2/21/2009

or, Johnny gets the Prowler Flu:

Luka made me do all kinds of stuff today, including trap-bar deadlifts, front kettlebell presses, 360 degree lunges with a kettlebell, and probably jumping through a flaming hoop.

All I can remember clearly is the prowler drills, and how I felt right afterward.  And how I feel right now. I’m not one of the guys in the video, but if I were, I’d be the guy with his hands on his knees about to hurl into the gutter. After my first set, it took me about 30 seconds to get enough wind back to be able to grunt “heat… off…”, which roughly translated means “I know that the gym is only about 50 degrees this morning, but right now it’s stifling, and 45 would feel much better, thank you”.

  1. That sounds nauseating and you would have to REALLY want to increase your performance to want to do this a lot:)
