Awesome! I just called Giro about pads for my Giro Pneumo and the lady said I would see them in about 7-10 days. Saved me about $10 for pads that I wasn’t sure would be OEM or fit the helmet. Thank you so much for the info.

Thanks, I had the exact same problem, and experience, Gamve them a call…great customer service. they will be my first helmet company when time to replace for our family of four.

Just like TimF says, my “courtesy Pads” will be here in 7-10 days. I can not read the stickers inside my Pneumo so I guessed large due to the melon size in my family. (got it from my triathlon crazed brother)

This 1-800 number still works, and no charge, at least for this, my first, set of replacement pads.

As the Giro phone rep said, “Courtesy Pads” for my 2001 Pneumo will arrive in the mail in 10 days.

The new pads make the Pneumo feel as good as new, especially as it hasn’t as yet been tested against tarmac!

7/13/09 – It still works. I called Giro at 800-456-2355 (option 4 – Consumer).

They asked for my make and size (Pneumo/Med). Then they asked for my address. I should get them within two weeks.

Sweet!

p.s. I do love my helmet!

Did the same as others, googled pads for giro, and got the blog.
