Hey, Joe

JoeI occasionally get an opportunity to impress my wife of 20 years, which is no small feat given the depth of her knowledge of how I put my pants on like everyone else. On yesterday’s Newcomers Ride in South Prairie, Terri was momentarily impressed when, in the course of conversation with another group of cyclists stopped there, I was hailed with “hey, you write a blog, don’t you?” by the fellow pictured here. He even mentioned the adventures of “Steady Eddie“. Terri was surprised, to be sure, and that prompted her question to Joe: “How did you recognize it was John?”

“I recognized his bike”…

I am traffic This is me.
This is my bike Buenos Aires
biker molly This is the most enthusiastic cyclist I have seen in a long time. Her name is Molly, and she rides in a handlebar bag on her “mom’s” bike. While the rest of us were stretching, resting, or sipping a warm beverage at the halfway point, she was providing the halftime entertainment.
