Thank you, Winterbike

From November through March, you let me ride you 1,319 miles through rain, floods, ice, snow, sand, debris, and road kill. The only thing you ever asked for was new wheels, and a little chain lubrication.

I bought you some new handlebar tape, because the black tape was pretty drab, and the cushion-y gel packs under the tape were leaking their sticky contents on your handlebars. I hope you like the color; I could have gotten you red because red is “hot”, but you are too cool to be anything but blue.

Thank you for being my bike, and for doing your job so well.

Thank you, Winterbike

Now, let’s go for a ride, OK?
