In the dark
We lost power last night around 11 PM, and I get the feeling I may not be the highest priority on the reconnect list. I’m holding a good thought, and hope that having an employee of Puget Sound Energy living next door might get me a little higher in the queue, anyway.
We’re ok, no trees down or anything. Terri headed off to work and reports that all is fine at the office. I’ll likely just hang out here all day, since I have no hot water with which to tame my savage bed-head.

We’re headed for a record here. It’s 63 hours of power outage. This rivals the ice storm we had ten years ago, when we sat here for 63 hours with no power. The difference this time is that there is no ice on the roads, and we have hot water. For some reason, I haven’t felt like going for a bike ride, however.
Rumor has it we might get power back tomorrow.

Jeebus. Thank goodness for gas hot water heaters.
Let’s hope the rumor is true! Lemme know if there’s anything I can do from this end.
