Bike Lights
No, we’re not talking your garden-variety headlight/taillights here. I found some battery operated LED lights, and set to zip-tying them to the frame tonight. One set of 20 lights are doubled-up on the handlebars, and one string is run along the top tube, left seatstay/chainstay, and downtube.
I’m quite pleased with the result, but now must try to resist the temptation to escalate by getting two more strings. The right side is not quite as lit, you know.

That front fork is looking a little dark. Excuse me while I make a run to my local Walgreen’s.

Speaking of illumination, have you been watching the Everest series on the Discovery Channel? On last night’s episode, double-amputee Mark Inglis summited with what looked like blinking bike lights on his carbon fiber legs. It was awesome.
