The window is slowly closing…
Terri called yesterday afternoon and expressed a desire to ride after work. In her new job however, that means we would have about 60 minutes to ride before sunset. Although she’s expressed an interest in trying night rides, we had kids and such to see to later in the evening. Consequently, I did a pre-load of the bikes in order to make a quick getaway when she got home.
It was a beautiful evening for a ride, the sun low over the west hill of the valley, Mt. Rainier clearly visible, and no wind to speak of. It was borderline “warm” when we started, but it was over-the-northern-borderline cold once the sun slipped down past the hill. That marked the turning point for this little out-and-back.
10 miles on the evening, 3,630 ytd.
