Today we managed to beat the rain with our Newcomer’s Ride. We started at the Tukwila Community Center and did a 23 mile loop of the Green River and Interurban Trails through Tukwila and Kent.

It was a surprisingly large turnout of 23, given the chilly temps, cloudy skies, and dire predictions of rain. Everyone seemed to have a good time, and the hot drinks at our midpoint stop at Kent Station were a welcome break.

We have a few more of these rides planned through the summer. Next scheduled Newcomer’s ride is May 27th, Auburn to Flaming Geyser Park through Green Valley.
