I just made a run out to Green Valley Meats for a little something to grill tonight, and I took a peek 1 mile further down the road to see if Mosby’s Fruit Stand was opening soon. They are stocking the shelves, and will be open for the first time this season tomorrow, Saturday April 29th.

Mosby’s is a little family-owned farm stand on Green Valley Road, a little more than a mile east of Highway 18 & Auburn. In the summer, it is my favorite stop while cycling the valley, and I’ve been known to bring a backpack to pack corn on the cob for the grill.

With the work complete on the Auburn Narrows roadway, it looks like it will be a good season of biking the valley on our way to and from the foothills and Black Diamond.
